It’s been a while so I figured let me do a throwback post to share a little bit about my “why”. When I first started focusing on the art of boudoir I realized a lot of things. There wasn’t a lot of representation. I didn’t see much, if not any, women of color…specifically, Black women. Another thing that I noticed was that there wasn’t a range in sizes. Women come in all shapes and sizes, okay! That’s when I met Briana, she told me that she had always wanted to do a boudoir session, but she was a little nervous. That’s the thing about a boudoir session. I work with a lot of women are are excited about the experience, but are also a little nervous…some more than others, because it’s intimate.
