I’ve never done a real/authentic post about me before. Well, my name is Celestine, but I prefer and go by Celeste. I was born, raised and still here in Wilmington, Delaware. I love my city. I’m an only child, and I always wished I had a sibling. I’m married to my high school sweetheart. We met at a hair salon/barbershop. We have an 18 year old daughter that has my eyes and his face. And I’m 5’0” which is always shocking to people when they meet me in person, and I’m 43 for a few more months anyway. I’m an over-thinker on mostly everything (I’m working on that).
Most people think I’m very serious/reserve and I’ve been told that I’m hard to “read”. And while some of that is true, I have a whole side that only those who love and really know me get to see (I’m working on that too). I’m a true Capricorn. I’m funny, and a hot ass mess on most days which is funny in and of itself. My petty comebacks and reads are unmatched, well…I think Cece comes close but she gets it honest.
I didn’t go to any schools for photography. I learned by practice and a strong desire to make beautiful and meaningful pictures of my daughter.
I love movement in my photos and authentic moments over posed and traditional.
